Obituary for George Douglas Farmer

George Douglas Farmer, age 62 of Hazard, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was the son of the late George Edward Farmer and the late Pauline Elkins Farmer. He is also preceded in death by wife: Danette Farmer; three brothers: Don, Jerry & Jimmie Farmer; one nephew: James Dougie Reynolds and special brother in law: Jamie Reynolds.

He is survived by two sisters: Janice Ann Reynolds of OH & Paula Marie Campbell of Hazard, KY; three special nephews: Brian Howard Reynolds of OH, Jeremy Edward Farmer of Hazard, KY & Michael Abel of Hazard, KY; three special great- nephews: Greyson Farmer, John David Abel & Ethan Michael Abel; four special great- nieces: Nikki Reynolds, Patti Reynolds, Jamie Ann Reynolds & Aaliyah Marie Farmer as well as a host of family and friends.
