Obituary for Ronald Morgan

Ronald Morgan, age 80 of Hazard, KY, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY. Ron was a retired printer for the Sonoco Corporation, a 52 year member of the Masonic Lodge 100 of New Carlisle, OH & enjoyed spending a lot of his spare time drinking coffee with his buddies at Circle T Restaurant.


He was born on June 20, 1938 in Busy, KY to the late Richard Morgan and the late Cloa Miniard Morgan. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children: Phyllis Morgan; as well as two sisters: Imogene Morgan & Virginia Rose Dixon.

He is survived by his wife: Wanda Napier Morgan; two daughters: Terrie Smith (Daryl) of OH & Christine Ann Pernell of OH; two step-sons: Estill Neace (Renee) of Hazard, KY & Philip Neace (Heather) of Hazard, KY; one sister: Lois Elam of OH; three brothers: Amos Morgan of OH, Frankie Morgan of OH & Richie Morgan of Lexington, KY; one granddaughter: Tammie Morgan; Special Friends: Ron Brown, Charles Feltner & the rest of the Circle T Gang; as well as a host of Family & Friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center.

Visitation: 11AM-1PM Monday, April 15, 2019 at Maggard's Mtn. View Chapel

Funeral: 1PM Monday, April 15, 2019 at Maggard's Mtn. View Chapel with Charles Raleigh officiating.

Burial at the Curt Napier Cemetery-Lotts Creek, KY
